Welcome to Crave: Chapter One, Melbourne's first LGBTQIA+ romance book signing event happening April 1, 2028 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Crave was born from a simple idea, and that is, queer romance deserves to be celebrated. I wanted to create a space where we can come together, celebrate who we are, and surround ourselves with stories that remind us that queer love is real love.

Because even now, in 2026, our community still faces prejudice, discrimination and hate, and those realities have a very real impact on LGBTQIA+ individuals. 

I knew that from the beginning I wanted to give back to the community and raise awareness for LGBTQIA+ domestic violence, that’s why 100% of the profits raised from the ‘First Love’ charity anthology will be donated to the Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation. It’s a chance to give back to an incredible organisation dedicated to raising awareness and offering assistance to LGBTQIA+ individuals experiencing domestic violence. 

So thank you to everyone who questioned why there has never been a queer romance event in Australia, Crave exists because of you.
